A member of Lopata Flegel’s Tax Services Department, Patti joined the firm in 2004 after nearly five years with a national accounting firm. She is a trusted advisor to her clients on both income tax and estate planning matters. Patti is responsible for tax compliance for a wide range of clients, including closely held businesses of all sizes, as well as high wealth individuals and trusts. Her areas of specialty include research tax credits, evaluating transaction costs, and working with families on special needs trusts and planning.
Patti heads the firm’s “Lopata Cares” Committee, which organizes our community outreach and charitable fundraising efforts and is a member of the firm’s Technology Committee.
Patti graduated with honors from Butler University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Outside the office, Patti enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is also very involved with several charitable organizations in the St. Louis community and serves on nonprofit boards/committees that support disabled individuals.
