Our firm celebrated the achievements of Katie Keys and Max Lewandowski at the MSCPA Awards Gala on November 10, 2011. Katie is a new CPA and Max recently passed the CPA exam. Congratulations Katie and Max!

Missouri Tax Credits

Lopata, Flegel & Company LLP has access to various 2009 Missouri tax credits, including the Historic Preservation Credit. These Missouri tax credits have been issued by the state of Missouri and are available for purchase by eligible taxpayers at a discounted rate.

These credits reduce the taxpayers’ 2009 Missouri tax liability dollar for dollar. In some cases, depending on the tax credit type and taxpayer scenario, the tax credits may be used to offset Missouri tax liabilities prior to 2009 and generate tax refunds.
