Allan has served as Lopata Flegel’s Managing Partner since 2014 and has been with the firm since its inception in 1990. He has worked for 37 years in public accounting, including eight years with Lopata’s national predecessor firm.

Allan’s client-service responsibilities are primarily in the accounting, auditing, ERISA, financial reporting, and business and tax planning areas. He focuses on serving owner-managed businesses in manufacturing, distribution, retail and service industries. His expertise includes Mergers and Acquisition where he’s led many due diligence projects, succession planning and litigation assistance. Allan is also a member of several client advisory boards and serves as a trustee for several clients. In addition to his client responsibilities, as Managing Partner Allan is involved in all aspects of firm administration and human resources activities.
