Michael W. Weiss, CPA

Mike is an Audit Partner with our firm. He has been with Lopata, Flegel & Company LLP since its inception in 1990 and with our predecessor firm since 1982. Mike’s focus is on serving owner-managed, growth-oriented and emerging early-stage businesses including clients in the construction, service, distribution, retail and various high-tech industries. Mike’s client-service responsibilities are primarily in the accounting, auditing, financial reporting and business planning areas. Additionally, Mike leads our firm’s internal technology team.

Mike received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting from the University of Iowa. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mike is married, has two children and also serves on boards for several not-for-profit organizations
