Fred is our Senior Partner and has 34 years of public accounting experience. His areas of specialty are accounting and auditing, mergers and acquisitions, and financial feasibility analysis of new projects. Fred’s background includes 22 years of experience with a major national and international public accounting firm.

While at the aforementioned national firm, he was selected as the national public accounting firm’s SEC accounting fellow candidate and participated in a nationwide competition of several hundred candidates in which he finished third. Additionally, Fred was selected by the national firm to their National Technical Review Team and participated in quality control audits of their offices throughout the United States. He was then promoted to Partner and selected as a Regional Technical Partner responsible for all technical matters in an eight-office region of the firm. Additionally, Fred was selected as the Consultant to the Missouri State Board of Accountancy for all technical matters affecting all CPAs in the State.

Fred has significant experience in complex litigation including litigation support through being a regional technical partner for Grant Thornton, assistance in determination of professional matters for the Missouri State Board of Accountancy, numerous expert witness situations and much experience as a consultant in disputes involving merger and acquisition situations. This has included various public companies including New York Stock Exchange companies as well as NASDAQ® companies.

Fred currently serves as an advisory member or active member of seven boards of directors of closely held companies in the St. Louis area. He also serves as an active member of various civic organizations.

Fred is an active member of the Advisory Board of the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, involved in Entrepreneurial Undergraduate and Graduate Programs.

Fred has taught educational programs throughout the United States. He has been an Advisory Member and Contributing Editor to the Management of Accounting Practices which is published by Practitioners Publishing Company (PPC). PPC is one of the largest publishers of accounting educational material in the world. Their publication of Management of Accounting Practices is used throughout the United States.
